Category 8: Gacoca regiment


Gacoca is one possible 3D analog of sossa. The easiest way to imagine gacoca is to start with a cubic honeycomb and remove pieces of the cubes to form goccoes. Then connect the triangles to octahedra where the vertices used to be, and connect the squares to square tilings. Gacoca can also be described as being to chon what gittith is to tes.

The gacoca regiment has 66 members, 19 of which have full chonnic symmetry while the rest have octettic symmetry. Their vertex figures are facetings of a square podium. I previously put the octettic symmetry members in a category called "antifrustumverts."



Main full symmetrics

These are the members with full chonnic symmetry whose vertex figures are self-revert. There's also a compound of square-apeirogon duoprisms called "fapoch" or fissal prismatocubic honeycomb.
